Each mouse mat is printed here in England, in-house, using a technology called dye sublimation. The inks penetrate the surface of the mouse mat at high temperature which is then quickly cooled leaving a vibrant image. This printing process enables images to be printed in full colour and at a high resolution which makes it possible to reproduce both solid colour and photographic images faithfully. We use colour stable inks and accurate colour profiling software to ensure we supply the best value mouse mat available.
The mouse mats we provide are the textile topped mouse mats which were the original mouse mats first produced for use with mice in the early days of computer technology development. Do you remember the Apple IIE (before the Lisa and Apple Mac)? The Amstrad early PCs? Or the fantastic Atari ST or Commodore Amiga ranges?
A textile topped mouse mat has a white fabric surface which is bonded to a natural rubber base. Consequently these types of mouse mats have great lay-flat and non-slip qualities. These mouse mats are still very much recommended today for use with the latest optical mice and because of their natural rubber base, they are arguably more environmentally friendly than some other types of mouse mats.
Don't forget we offer a custom service where we use your image and/or words to produce a unique mouse mat just for you!
